iTunes 11 cover flow?

In the previous iTunes, there was a way to view all your songs with cover flow on the top half of the screen. Is that (or something like it) available in iTunes 11?

Seriously, the only feature that distinguished iTunes from other software (apart from the fact you have to use it to sync your music library with your i-device) is now GONE... I don't get it why they abandoned it...

It would contribute a lot to the new design and title view... also that the small preview window in the bottom left corner is gone, you don't have any other cover view except in album or the small preview window in the top bar... of course clicking on it makes it larger, but that's not nearly as beatiful or useful as cover flow was!

Guys at Apple, reconsider your decision! That was a stupid move!

I really like cover flow, looked nice, made it easy to use when wanting to flick through albums quickly, and on a big TV screen with the Apple remote, it was so nice to use. Now it is just one big list of music, why Apple why? you are meant to improve things not go back, its like if they were to take the cameras of the iPod touch and say its better, because it isn't. Sort it out, bring it back in the next update

And the way to search. I can't cross comments with genres and artists, unless I make a stupidly complex SMART playlist. The new iTunes is everything but smart. The search box is SO limited. I can't see at a glance the comments nor the genre, nor the play count. NOTHING. The more I use it the more I hate it. It's not that I resist the change. It's just that apple's changes are being definitely crappy.

Cannot find it either... ***?

In fact, there seems not to be no full screen mode at all? (I mean, other than the standard full screen window) So, am I supposed now to have the iTunes main window visible instead of my beautifully organized covers when playing music??

Please let me know if otherwise, otherwise I am downgrading to iTunes 10...

I found a work-around for myself to get some cover flow back in iTunes 11 (at least, well, sort off...). This is what I do:

I am clicking on the mini cover of the currently playing track on the top of iTunes: This brings up a large view of the cover. I enlarge this to full screen. This view also follows the playing tracks. So, finally, I have a my large cover back. It does not bring the flow back. This cover view will change to he next album cover once the next album is playing.

Ideal there would be a AppleScript to automatically bring this view up, set the view to full screen, minimize (not hide) the iTunes main window and create a plain black background (window) behind the cover view window. Anybody with some AppleScript skills up to do that? X)

So this work-around does give me a half-decent full-screen cover playback mode, that I am personally happy with. I use cover flow mainly as my playback view of iTunes as I want to see the cover of the current album. It does not give me the 'flow' of cover flow back... If your are using cover flow to browse your music, this tipp not for you...
