Download directly to itunes library

Is it possible to download directly from an outside source onto my pc and directly to library or do I have to first put in a folder and then drag to the library?

Comparable'ish to Dr Who.

The Robot would always keep an eye out for Will Robinson, the youngest member of the crew. When danger was near, he would shout, "Danger Will Robinson, Danger" and wave his arms about to alert Will.

Anyway, to the original poster, if this is Limewire (and I suspect it is), then although the software in itself is not illegal, using it to download and share copyrighted material most certainly is.

It would not be correct for us to help with that here (and I've said more than enough about Limewire in this thread already).

Actually, Robby the Robot was from The Forbidden Planet.

In Lost In Space, the robot never had a "real" name, just Robot.

He was designed by the same guy as Robby the Robot though.

Cool your jets. It is not Limeware; am not even sure I know what it is. I pay 99 cents for each song download which I presume is legal.

However, since no one here has been able to help me with my question and a lot of time and effort have been wasted, I am closing this thread.

Your question was answered a long time ago.

I just checked and you cannot download directly to iTunes.
Download, add to library and you can delete the original, as long as you have iTunes prefs to copy to iTunes library.

You pay 99 cents to a web site and you have no idea who/what it is?

Jeff,

I just tried adding a song to iTunes music folder and nothing happened.
I tried it with iTunes open and closed.
I tried adding to all the folder levels in iTunes.
Nothing happened.
I have to drag it to iTunes or select Add to library.
