I can't update to iTunes 10.7 to 11 on PC

Okay, I'm running iTunes 10.7 on Windows 7 Home Premium. iTunes 11 has debuted and I am attempting to upgrade by going to Help>Check For Updates, and I keep getting a message that says "This version of iTunes (10.7) is the current version."

My computer is fully up-to-date, I have already ran a full system virus scan, as well rebooted the PC. I have tried to update signed is myself, my brother, and not signed in at all.

Is anyone else having these issues, either on MacOS, Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8?

Has anyone been able to solve this issue?

Please help. Thank you!

Just go to the itunes website and download it from there. All your settings and playlist will be intact.

I cant download it, because all my music is standard mp3s not from iTunes. It would take like 3 hours to transfer

Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

OK... I dont even understand that. What does MP3's have to do with it? If it works in 10.7, it will work in 11. Itunes does not care what or where it came from.

I'm having the same problem. When I go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/, it only lets me download 10.7 not 11. It's not working on Apple Software Update either. 😟

I've tried that repeatedly, but no file downloads. I had the same problem with 10.7, and someone had a direct link to the file that allowed me to download it and then I could install it, but I can't find the same kind of thing for 11. Help?

I've tried download on,update,reboot my router,computer. I'm convienced it's a bug in the software. No proof of that just my opinion.
