DVI to HDMI to Panasonic CT-34WX15 PPC 1.25mhz Mac mini.
I need help with connecting my Mac Mini 1.25mhz to my HIDEF 16:9 Panasonic CT-34WX15. TV display resolution is 480p/1080I only. I bought the DVI to HDMI cable and connected it to my Mini and the display looked great except that I could not see the pull down menus on the desktop and I could only see half of the icons on the dock station.
The mini only recognizes 3 resolutions 640x480, 720x480 and 1920x1080.
The only display that I could see everything was 1920x1080 but all my icons were really small I could not read any text on the screen and the screen looked really fuzzy.
The setting around 720X480 were would be the best bet for me. The display looked beautiful. But I need to be able to see the whole screen.
I downloaded DisplayconfigX and I tried to work with it and I couldn't get it to, mainly because of operator error. I'm really not sure how to set it up or what settings would be the best. I've read on other forums that DisplayconfigX is the way to go to get my TV display the way I want it.
I just need some advice on how to set it up with DisplayconfigX. How do I set the correct settings and what advantages will I have in registering it?
