how to downgrade ipod touch 4G 6.1.1 to 5.0.1 ios

As I said downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.

When you restore the iPod to factory serttings/new iPod the iPod always ends up with the latest iOS available for that model iPod.

Yes that's what happened to me. I upgraded to 6 and found my iPod was unusable (very slow and apps crashed). I tried to reset to factory settings and it wiped my iPod with a fresh iOS 6 install. This is VERY misleading and I wonder when someone will have a class action lawsuit in order to force apple into downgrading iOS or at least allow a reset to the original factory iOS version. My 4th gen iPod is currently useless.

All I can say in this Apple forum is that downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.

Hi my name is Bobby Edward DeMarco is there anyway to downgrade on ios versions on and iPod Touch 4th Generation because apps been crashing on me on my iPod Touch 4th Generation with ios 6.1.6 so is there anyway to downgrade it.
