textPlus expired number

Ok, so I guess I'll put this question here since I can't put it under "general" iOS apps location.

Anyway, I went to use textPlus, and it said my number expired, and I needed a new User uploaded fileone to use the app (see picture). But it didn't give me info on how to do so. When I Googled my problem, I got this: http://help.textplus.com/customer/portal/articles/142774-does-my-textplus-phone- number-expire- however, I have gone for longer than 21 days without using the app, and nothing happened. Also, I won't have all of my conversations from the expired number 😟 I have a 2nd generation iPod Touch running iOS 4.2.1 and textPlus is version 4.9.6

Please help! Thanks!

We are sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing. Sounds like your phone number expired due to 21 days of inactivity but we can take a look into your account for you. Would you mind sending the support team an email at support@textplus.com? Please include details of the issue as you have described here, along with your username, phone number and registered email address.


Lastly, did you know that you've posted in a public forum and your screenshot containing your phone number can be seen by anyone? I wanted to bring that to your attention for general security reasons!
