energy saver doesn't sleep computer on schedule

I have a mid 2010 Mac Pro running Mac OsX 10.7.5. I have the Energy Saver scheduled to wake and sleep the computer at certain times. It seems to have no problem waking the computer but doesn't sleep according to the schedule. I don't have anything else running at the time of the scheduled sleep time.
