Missing show duplicates in iTunes 11

I am wondering too? anyone? anyone?

Likewise! I sure hope this isn't one of those things that has been dropped based on someone's opinion that it isn't unseful or needed, because it is!

Is it really gone? Wish I could get version 10 back!!

Please fix it!!

I can't believe this is no longer an option...If someone knows how to accomplish this task, PLEASE post it. Apple - Please ADD THIS BACK!

I have found the remove duplicates option. I use iTunes Match currently to sync songs between all of my devices. I recently double imported my library. Thus giving me 16,000 songs instead of 8,000. Here is how I abolished my duplicates. On the view tab I selected to view the iCloud Status, ran iTunes Match, since iTunes Match will only let you upload one instance of the song, in the status column in the library it says Duplicate. Sort the column so the duplicates show first. Option click the first duplicate, through the last duplicate, hit delete and TADA! Duplicates removed with the greatest of ease!

😠...OKAY,... My problem with iTunes 11,.. I have " ! " beside songs that are there but wont play!,.. DUPLICATES songs in my iTunes and in iCloud AND ON MY iPHONE 4!!!!! 😕 I tired the iTunes mach thing but you have to be a subscriber to it,... SO!,....NOW WHAT!!!! THIS *****!

So now we have to pay Apple $25 for iTunes match when IT creates duplicates of every song? Time to move to Google play.

But not everybody wants to pay for something that was previously free!

Check the post "duplicates in iTunes 11" that I just wrote. It solved the lack of duplicate problem I was having in 11.

The 'Duplicate-song Finding' feature has been restored in iTunes 11.0.1.

It's now under 'View' as 'Show Duplicate Items'.

For Windows users:

Open iTunes.

Press the "Alt" Key once.

Select the "View" Menu.

Select "Show Duplicate Items".
