Jan 8, 2013 2:05 PM in response to sanjampetby snappler,I like the new itunes, and the new options and search features, with some dabbling around I kinda got it, then it makes sense, but i`m enjoying how I can set up different albums and songs and revert back to different lists of next up, i`m actually enjoying it for the first time, I never got comfortable with the previous version,

Jan 8, 2013 2:21 PM in response to Porfby jasctt7417,It's the worst. Am actually considering buying a used Windows laptop on Craigslist just so i can use an older version that works. Seriously.

Jan 8, 2013 2:36 PM in response to Porfby Selereth,This might have already been mentioned before, but since I can't be bother to go through 70 pages of text, I'll just pose the question again. How do you put music onto your Apple device?? It was so easy with the old iTunes, where you just dragged the music onto the device icon on the left but now I can't figure it out!

Jan 8, 2013 2:41 PM in response to Selerethby jasctt7417,I don't know. All I know isthat this new itunes, on my new MBP, won't keep the changes I make to the track information. It just goes back to it's original info. I need to be able to modify it like I could on the old version. It's useless.

Wouldn't it be easier to just go back to 10.7....?

Jan 8, 2013 2:47 PM in response to double_ohh7by jasctt7417,You can't. The new OS will only work with the newest Itunes on the new MBP. No way to get back. Believe me, I would if I could but I can't. This is the only thing bugging me about my lovely MBP.

Jan 8, 2013 3:05 PM in response to jasctt7417by Patrick Weisser,@jasctt7417: You can go back to 10.7 - I did after a horrible week of using iTunes 11 and it's so good to have my Cover Flow back along with the other advanced multi-window features of 10.7! I have a MacBook Pro running Lion. Directions for going back to 10.7 are all over the web because so many people are upset with iTunes 11. I can't post directions for you here because they will be deleted by the forum moderator. Just Google iTunes 10.7, AppZapper, Pacifist. I'm listening to my music with Cover Flow active on a separate monitor as I type this and loving it! : )
