It's like a new team of developers took a pi$$ on iTunes just to mark their territory.

Horrible!  I can't even check, uncheck or delete podcasts. Delete doesn't work, and control-clicking doesn't do anything useful! Didn't anyone test this before throwing it out on us?

I miss the COVER FLOW............        Apple why you did that ??

Agree with everything mentioned.  They've also b0rked search...  I have my whole library tagged with descriptive comments that I use while searching...  Kind of helps when DJing.  I found search doesn't even scan the comments or the grouping field...

In the end I did manage to fix this by ensuring that comments and groups were visible as columns in the window I'm searching, but WHY should I have to do that?

Plus no album artwork preview is stupid.

Plus no genius sidebar (even as an option).  I actually liked it and found it useful.

Apple should fire those idiots just like they fired several other execs recently.

If you mean the side bar - it is available by - option-CMD-S. Or from the View menu.

I've already sent three seperate feedback forms to them about the issues since I downloaded (list view d*mbf*ckery, bugs, search). I just hope TPB look at them.

I think some people should check it out before compaining that they should fire people. iTunes 11 works great for me, and has far more functionality than previous versions. Ther arer all kinds of views available if you check it out.

But there's no way to satisfy some people who are determined to hate (not referring to you Porf).

iTunes 11 is a BIG MISTAKE! Cover Flow was a main reason for using iTunes - and now it's gone. The old interface was much better and a 100 times faster and more intuitive to use. Can anyone recommend a good alternative to iTunes?

You got that right. I wrote the same thing in a post ....

Actually my problem isn't about new features. But features they took away. Mainly 3: Dj, Cover Flow and dark Grid View. I also liked the old way of searching. I have a 126GB size libaray. I also listen to classical a lot. The current search is almost useless for me.

Now i can get around the new search by using a 3rd party app. But the other 3 are just gone. I'd like to know why.

Sorry, I feel the exact opposite. I don't understand how anyone could prefer Cover Flow to the new iTunes 11 options I've found.

It's taken a little getting used, but really not too much. Try doing a little checking around. iTunes 11 is great, in my opinion. 11 is much faster for me, and has more useable features. But each to their own.

It works great. Best version yet, by FAR!

Tons of bugs in this version.

- My library was corrupted, and I had to rebuild from scratch.

- Artwork won't show up in album view on half the albums, even though the artwork is in the file and shows up when I "get info"

- trouble syncing iphones.

Not to mention:

- Search function ***** now, it no longer searches in your tags, and can't search within a playlist as before.

Overall: NOT HAPPY.
