Q: What are your thoughts on the New iTunes 11?

I for one am not very impressed! You lose cover flow, and the ability to resize your album art. Unlike previous versions where everything is not in just one area now your searching over the whole itunes for what you need to do. Its cluttered and instead of just editing one album your stuck at looking at all the other distractions instead of what your trying to edit. What are all of your thoughts on this new itunes?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion, i7 16gb ram

Absolutely hate it.  I just read the biography of Steve Jobs, whose genius was creating products that are beautiful and simple to use.  iTunes 11 is the opposite.  One of the best features of the old iTunes -- search -- has been ruined.  Tim Cook seems like a great guy, but this move makes me think of John Sculley.  Definitely not insanely great.

I agree - I've been dying to get rid of iTunes 11 almost since I got it and it randomly played my music.  A roll-back to 10.7 would be great.  I'm nervous of trying it myself.

Just how do you play an album start to finish??  I can't do it.

Im glad that the majority of people feel the way I do about itunes 11.

Just wondering, where are you getting your data that a 'majority' of iTunes users feel the way you do?

If you read this post and the responses that should answer your question. You may be the exception to this majority and if so just ignore what I said.

You have presented no facts to back up your post because you can't. You're literally delusional if you think you are correct. Not sure how that's going to convince Apple to change anything.

I tried to copy Itunes 10.7 from my MacBook Pro to my iMac.  No luck as the MacBook seems to have newer updates as it is running 10.7.5 and the iMac is running 10.6.8.  Crap.  So unless Apple give the oppurtunity to revert I'm stuck with iTunes 11 on the iMac...

You haven't offended me (although your name calling is a bit immature) BUT you made a statement that simply is not true. Take responsibility for that or stop posting propaganda. That's not helping anyone. The goal here is to get Apple to change things. Thank you

Immature hmmm I apologized for clearly bringing the Devil out in you, think thats pretty mature. Some people can dish out and disrespect people, but cant handle it when they get a taste of their own medicine.

Whenever I find myself the victim of other peoples smallness, insecurities, ignorance, or bitterness I always remember things could be worse I could be one of them. (You)

You can respond or analyze me all you want, but Im not wasting another comment arguing with a fool (you) its so pointless. God Bless and have a Merry Christmas!

Your backhanded apology says more about you than anyone else could. Just know that people come here to get help, and not read your misunformation. Thank you

Yes! When I start tipping on the search field, I want to see the marches on the main view!!!

    Keep it simple!!!

Now, Itunes looks like Windows Media Player!

Yes you are so right. The worst thing about iTunes 11 is that it's not Mac like. instead of being simple it feels cluttered.

I'm starting to think the same thing as well. It's hard when you have so much invested in the music and these I devices. I love the way they all work together, but like you I fear a change in the air and not for the better.
