I bought a new computer with Windows 8 installed. When I connected my iPod classic, it automatically went to sync then tried to download more music from CD's and my entire library disappeared from my computer. How do I get my library back on my computer???

Never heard of a library disappearing from a computer when connecting an iPod, have heard of several instances of it happening the other way though.
I would look into your directory and see if the music is actually still there. It should be, if it is, it's a relatively simple matter of reimporting, or recreating your library files. If the music IS NOT there still, then,.. you've got bigger issues.
