6.0.1 created terrible lag in garageband can it be optimized for iPhone 4 since we are all paying customers and deserve a better running app?

iOS 6.0.1 killed the garageband app for me.. It worked great on 5.1.1 with no lag, could record track for track. At about 5 tracks there was a slight lag but now on iOS 6 I can't even lay drums down on top of anything because there is a lag. It needs to be optimized for iPhone 4 users who have already paid good money for they're apple products and don't have the money to "just upgrade" any support would be appreciated thank you
