I had the same problem (and I am using a 32' LED Screen), what helped me, was to auto hide the Win 7 taskbar and enabling and disabling the Side Bar and the status bar, after that I unhide the Win7 taskbar again and it looked oke.

A better version:

Try this to bring back the "old" iTunes view

Ctrl + / brings back the status bar

Ctrl + s brings back the Side Bar

Other handy shortcut is Ctrl + Shift + B it will bring back the column browser.

All these keys are under the View menu option .

To show the Menu bar, in the upper left corner of iTunes select the "Show Menu Bar" on the flyout window

Please note that in a notebook if you reduce the resolution to an non native screen resolution you get a bad resolution.

So, I will not reduce my resolution definitively only to get the iTunes rigth!

I am noticing that iTunes 11 is a faulty iTunes version with many problems. I have problems downloading my podcasts, etc.

I think Apple will correct this quickly.
