Deleting apps on itunes 11 not deleting them when syncing with Iphone 4s!

Before I updated to Itunes 11 I used to delete unwanted apps on Itunes and then when sysncing through PC running windows 7, apps used to be deleted on iphone. After updating to Itunes 11 this is not being done. You can sync purchased apps from Itunes to Iphone and also from Iphone to Itunes both directions, but when deleting both directions won't work, therefore in order to delete the app I have to delete apps both on Iphone and Itunes!

For some reason, the LIBRARY sidebar menu is hidden by default when upgrading to iTunes 11. The applications options that makes deleting possible can be find in that menu (under music, movies, tv-series). It seems like no one could find it (the menu), at least, I couldn't.

Now, deleting applications from iTunes is possible again using the right clic, the same way it was with previous versions.

Let's hope I can make myself clear enough, I'm french. 🙂

The problem here is not deleting the apps in Itunes but synchronizing those deletions with the other apple products being used.

If I have an Ipad, Iphone and Itunes and I buy something on the Iphone, this is transferred to Itunes and Ipad when synchronizing but if I then delete it on the iphone they will still remain on the Ipad and Itunes when synrhonizing, therefore having to delete them manually.

It works the way it has been designed to work. You may not agree with the logic, but once you understand it you can find a work flow that works for you. Apps are not the same as music. If you delete an app from a device in error restoring it won't replace the data associated with it. Ensuring you don't accidentally remove an app from a device seems to me like a "good thing" in general, even if in this instance you don't find it convenient.

There seems to be a lot of people here confused as to what the issue being discussed is.

I think we all know how to delete apps from itunes.

What we are struggling with, is having a functionality by where apps that are deleted from itunes are subsequently deleted off of ios devices with the next sync.

Instead at the moment we have to delete apps from itunes, and then take a second step and delete the same apps off of subsequesnt ios devices which does seem like a crazy step to have to make.

If you are anything like me and occasionally have an app 'clear-out' on itunes, you don't want to have to log all those apps down then go to your iPhone or iPad and find and delete them all again. Twice.

So is there a workaround yet??
