Anyone had this happen? I just bought a song in new iTunes and now it's not anywhere in my Library.
It shows 'Purchased' in store but the song is not there. Restarted iTunes etc... Can these guys
do anything right lately??

Do you see it in your Recently Added playlist and do you use iTunes Match?

1) Turn off Match, see if the items appear, then turn Match on again.
2) Drag the items from the Recently Added playlist to the library.
3) Wait until they do appear.

Yea, turning off iTunes Match and back on again worked. Thanks, how is the average person sopposed to guess this??
BTW, I tried buying another song and the same thing happened! So now if you have iTunes Match you have to fiddle with this everytime you buy a song?? What the heck, they can't figure this out in the Beta? What's going on with Apple?

I've have the exact same type of problem. If you have to turn on and off iTunes match every time, this is definitely a bug. How could Apple miss this?
Thanks for the fix, Limnos. But truly, what's going on with Apple? For all the benefits promised in the new iTunes format, a glitch for something as basic as this really mutes the fanfare. Kind of like that ridiculous map app in the iPhone upgrade.

I had the same problem. I purchased the music on my iMac and it wouldn't show up anywhere. I tried the iTunes match trick and that didn't work for me either. I finally looked on my iPhone and it was under purchased music there but still not on my iMac. When I added the song to a playlist on my phone it finally showed up on my iMac but I still had to download it from the cloud. The weirdest thing was that I bought two songs from the same album and one showed up right away and the other didn't. Hope they fix this quick.
I had the same issue but I do not have Match. It showed up on my iphone but not in itunes. Finally I saw an arrow up by the search - I clicked it and that is where the download was!
