I just bought an iphone 5, (27th Nov) fitted the new nano sim, did the simswap with o2, now I have just noticed my lifetime usage says 7 days and 8 hours but I only did it yesterday, and was pretty surprised that I had to update the ios to 6.0.1 so why does it say 7 days??

If you restore a backup from your old iPhone, the lifetime usage is carried over.
Well how's that work then?, I had my iphone 4s for over a year, so that can't be right.

Why don't you look at your 4S and see what the usage is on that...
I have a 4S now. I've had iPhones since launch day for the original in 2007. My lifetime usage is 22 days 2 hours.
Thanks again, can't compare as its been reset to a new phone but think I understand now.... I started with a 3GS so not as long as you 🙂
