How to remove iCloud
Upon installing Mountain Lion, I had inadvertently set up iTunes with iCloud.
How can remove it from iTunes or turn it completly off?

Not sure what you meant... There is no iCloud setting in iTunes; iCloud is basically the iTunes store itself allowing you to download again any previous purchases.
If you mean the little cloud showing on the sidebar, you can turn off this display from the General tab in the iTunes preferences.

I see. I turned of iCloud in system prefernces.
I no longer see a sidebar in iTunes 11.
Not sure to understand you, but to see iTunes' sidebar, enable it from the view menu.
To see the sidebar again, simply press Control S. It works like magic!
