Is what your looking for under >View >View options? It allows you to resize the album artwork.
no iv'e tried that and it doesnt give me that option but thanks anyway
As far as I know, there is no way. After all, you are not sitting watching album covers change while you are listening to iTunes. I turn on iTunes in the background while I am surfing the 'net or using Airport Express.
It is possible, just check Jimma's post (View >View options)
Slider for resizing of album artwork only available in the ARTISTS pane (via View/View Options).
Must say I'm very disappointed that the resizing slider has been removed from the ALBUMS pane.
I found out a way to resize the album artwork in windows. Hold down Ctrl-S then click the album artwork and you get the old resizeable artwork which you can resize to your liking by draging the lower right corner of the artwork window that pops up. Not sure if something similar will work in apple iOS.
I am using iTunes 11.1 on a windows 7 machine.
Update:
Acutally, it works with just the Ctrl click on album artwork.
