my phone wont sync with itunes cuz of an update but in my phone settings it says it up to date

its telling me i need a 10.0 version update to sycn my phone on the pc through itunes but my phones has the latest update

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.0.1

I think it means you need to update your iTunes, the newsest version is 11.0
