I turn on my iMac intel based not available for the seagate recall and it just turns white and does not load up at all just stays white and the pinwheel keeps spinning

You probably have a crashed HD. Run Apple Hardware Test;

in Extended Mode at least 3x!!!!! If the machine reports errors then you have to take it in for service. We won't know what the codes mean as Apple doesn't publish the codes. If no errors appear after the 3X then please navigate to:
