Got Tiger, now Logic 7.1.1 unexpectedly quits

I finally upgraded from Panther to Tiger, and Logic stopped opening altogether. Went to Software Update and got 10.4.6, also reinstalled Logic 7.1.1. No luck.

Now what? Anything to try short of a complete reinstall?

20" iMac G5, Mac OS X (10.4.6), 1GB RAM, 200GB HD, Logic Pro 7, Adobe CS2

Yes, "Installed Updates" confirms that I installed that in late 2005. However, I will try reinstalling that.

I decided to try going back to Logic 7.0.1, which was quite stable for me. I downloaded and launched "LogicPro701Updater.pkg"

The message it returns is:

Logic Pro Updater cannot be installed on this computer.
Logic Pro was not found in /Applications.

Hmm. I went and looked in my applications folder - yup, there it is:

Logic Pro 7.1.1
Kind: Application (PowerPC)
Size: 247.8 MB on disk
Where: /Applications

Now what?
