Dec 3, 2012 3:04 AM in response to shldr2thewheelby stuartfrombentleigh east,Thanks. I've heard that response before from Apple.
But what to do about the slowness? My Macbook seems to be clogged up with unnecessary stuff. I went to the local Apple Genius board and the chap told me that (for instance) all the hundreds of blurred nations' flags are 'probably' there for a purpose in the photos list and not to delete them. That doesn't make sense.
When I boot up or open the lid from sleep, it takes a long time before I'm able to put my password in the box and continue, which it never used to do.
If you have any other ideas, please let me know.
Many thanks
Stuartp77.
