Does group message work on iMessage for macbook pro?

I have a group message going on my iPhone 4s and a few individual going. I get the individuel where im only talking to one person. Im in a group message and i get the messages on my iPhone but not on my macbook pro. Can i get group message chats on my macbook pro? If so how come mine is not working maybe i didnt set it up and someone couild help me?
