Battery charger get rally hot any ideas or solutions or is this a ongoing problem

How hot is hot? Download from the Internet iStat pro and install it. It will tell you the various internal temperatures of your MBP and the fan speeds. Post back and indicate what applications you are using.
Please understand that there are internal temperature sensors in you MBP that will shut it down before it commits Hari Kari, so you may relax in that regard.
