It seems that the iTunes Match is not functioning properly. It will run through the three steps, but my iCloud status won't change from "waiting". I'm not getting the button that downloads the audio track from iCloud. I've tried to logging out and then back in, to no avail. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm getting the problem that I cannot find a way to show whether the track is 'waiting', 'uploaded' or 'matched' anymore. It's not under View Options like it used to be.
Can anyone shed light on this? I need to know whether tracks are matched or not.

Just solved this myself - apparently it only shows in 'Songs' view and not 'Album'.
As for your problem, have you tried Quitting iTunes then opening it fresh? Or even turning off iTunes Match then back on?
Not matter how long I waited, many songs remained at "waiting" status. iTunes Match seemed to hang and stopping and restarting did not help. I was mostly successful with adding iCloud status in Song view, selecting and individual track and right clicking on it. I chose update iCloud from the menu and after a bit most of the tracks marked waiting were resolved. There were still some problematic one - oddly almost all purchased Classical - that had duplicate entries of Waiting and Purchased but downloadable. I have been going through these a few at a time and almost have it resolved. I have no idea how this happened as all was fine before iTunes 11. Support only offered a form letter - good luck with your library, I'm sure it will work out!
I'm experiencing a similar thing. I've added the songs to my library but I cannot see them anywhere, not even on the 'Songs' tab. I've tried re-adding the files from but I get a message saying the files are already there and do I want to replace them!
I notice that this symptom happens whenever itunes match service is overloaded and unable to service request. Whenever the service is inacccessible, a lot of weird behaviours will occur. Do wait until the itunes match become accessible again and all these problems will automatically go away. Strongly suggest don't waste your time trying other ways (relogin, restartup, or stuff like that ).
