Q: We want Cover Flow back into next version of iTunes

I feel really really disappointed about losing Cover Flow in iTunes 11.

The expand mode of ablum is gorgers, however, this new feature does not have to replace Cover Flow, they could exist at the same time.

I love to arrange my music according to 'Date Added' in Song tag and love to turn on Cover Flow view at the same time, Cover Flow just lists my newest album on the left. I love to listening to music and see the album artwork at the same time. In iTunes 11, they are all gone!!! what a pity!!!!

Cover Flow is the feature I like most in iTunes, Do not go astray, my lovely APPLE!!

so, I hope I can see Cover Flow agagin in next version of iTunes.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.0.1

I think if Apple is going to pull this kind of crap on it's patrons then Apple should at lease let you know which features have been eliminated in it's "upgrades" instead of only focusing on the "new features" -- which in this case is a sever and unnecessary change to what was a great product. I’m not upgrading to 11 and am now considering which piece of music playback software I may need to move to in the future.

Can anyone suggest another Apple compatible music player that’s does what iTunes did?

Thanks Apple. You should all have your heads examined for this asinine decision.

Ironically, Google Play Music has 'Coverflow' on my Android tablet. It also syncs automatically to iTunes and stores everything in the cloud (for free) so I can access it anywhere and on any device I can access the Internet.

Apple drops the ball - Google picks it up. Watch out Apple, your crown is slipping.

It's simple iTUNES for music and one of the nice things about music is the album art, not thumbnails, not social friggin networking.

I'm so PO'd about this, it's the ONLY reason that I have any idevices in the first place, because I admired the cover flow.

Thankfully I re-installed the previous version and have it back, and this is where I will stay until the brainiac who removed it, returns it .

Typically, apple is not responding to consumer requests nor making any comments on this in hopes that it will just go away.

So I guess the only way to make a statement is to negatively effect sales, sounds reasonable, as I will not be replacing any of my current idevices when the batteries start to die lol

Please bring back the coverflow, or someting that allows us to look at album art in full size. This is a serious enough problem for me that I'm looking at media player alternatives.

I had enough, I simply downgraded to 10.7.

Its quite easy to do and only requires a little fiddling to move your old iTunes library file to where it needs to be.  iTunes with Coverflow is back, as awesome as ever!  Now all those hours of painstakingly adding proper album artwork are not lost.

Bring back coverflow already. Why was it even taken away. This is a really important feature to me. One of the main reasons I imported all my cd's. I didn't upgrade iTunes for the longest time because this was missing. I bought the new iPhone 5s and was force to upgrade to setup my iPhone and the new Itunes is horrible. Completly different from the better iTunes with coverflow. Also coverflow is missing from the new ios 7. I don't understand why they went from the awesomeness of coverflow to what ever the plain junk is on the new iTunes and ios7. It looks like a bunch of cover art laid out flat nothing special. So apple take note listen to the people and bring back coverflow or at least give us the option to turn it on in both itunes and ios 7. Before you start losing customers. There is a lot of things I could complain about in ios 7 but I can deal. Coverflow being gone from both iTunes and ios7 is not acceptable. FIX THIS!!!

After close to a year of waiting for the cover flow to return in an update of iTunes, in the mad hope that Apple would have realized the pointlessness of removing it and restored it to their software, I've thrown in the towel and reverted to iTunes 10.7. It was worth all the trouble of retooling my library and resyncing my ipod just to have it back again.

I still hope that Apple will come round and reimplement it in the next version of iTunes. The glory of Apple's music software is that it's always appealed, and been designed expressly to appeal, to people who really care about their music and its craft. To be able to scroll through and appreciate all the fantastic cover art in my collection, and have it on display as the music plays, is no small thing, and I don't understand what new vision of iTunes made that essential part of the user experience--the user experience Apple has always so emphasized--obsolete. While I'm at it, the new music interface on iOS 7 falls victim to the same sins, replacing the cover flow with some bizarre thumbnail view and shrinking the cover art on the player screen for reasons that I can't possibly imagine, and it's fortunate for me that my iPod is too old for iOS 7.

I have ceased to buy any music from iTunes for the last several months, choosing instead to purchase it from other sources. There are frankly many personal reasons for this, but Apple's apparent loss of vision in the user experience department certainly falls among them.

Now that Apple gear comes with iTunes 11 and/or IOS7, we stopped buying all Apple products. Like the many millions out there, we will NOT give up iTune 10.7 because COVERFLOW is what iTunes all about. It is only a matter of 1 tab, that Apple can bring back, so that those of us can run iTunes in Coverflow mode. It is not much for Apple to bring back Coverflow especially that it payed millions of dollars to acquire it in the first place.

Apple, stop letting us down and please bring back CoverFlow to iTunes.

The link to Apple's feedback page, which is how you submit comments to Apple, was posted over a year ago, in the second post in this thread.

I have left feedback on the apple feedback site, how else can I tell Apple to bring back CoverFlow?
