MacBook Pro will shutdown after installing iTunes 11 and will not turn back on!!! Help, my battery indicator still works shows full charge and my cables work...what's going on? Early 2011 model

Have you tried booting into your Recovery partition (holding down the Command and R keys whilst booting).
I don't know why an iTunes update would cause your MBP to shutdown and not turn back on. If you can't boot into your Recovery partition, try running theApple Hardware Test(if you can - if you can't, it's time for a trip to your local Apple Store or AASP).

Command and r keys? No I haven't tried that yet..I had just downloaded itunes11 it asked me if I wanted to shutdown now..before I even answered it shut itself off and wouldn't turn on....
Hmm - I didn't have to restart when I updated to iTunes 11. The big problem that you facce now is getting your machine back up and running? Try booting into teh Recovery partition and if that doesn't work, try the AHT. If that doesn't work... hello Apple Store genius.

Might have to go in..***** no warranty...the thing will not turn on like there is no power at all..but the battery is fully charged...thanks for the help
Hmm, late to the dance, but... next time you buy an Apple product, buy AppleCare. I always buy it and it's saved me a lot of money over the years.
I think that you definitely have a hardware issue - the iTunes 11 install just seems to be coincidental.

Yea took it in today..the macbook pro was my first apple product i didnt know much, and i didnt think i would have so many issues in such a short amount of time..if i could turn back time...thanks clint, they are sure it is the logic board causing the issue..so i'm playing the waiting game
