Connecting 2 x 2.1 Klipsch Speakers

Greetings!

I have two (2) Klipsch Promedia Ultra 2.1 speaker systems. I combined them together to form a 4.2 system, which I used to have connected to my PC's soundcard. Is there a way to hook these up to my Powerbook?

I experimented earlier and found that I was able to access either the front two or rear two speakers by connecting one of the Klipsch mini plugs into my headphone jack. So far i've been unable to get all the speakers working though, and I have I hunch I might need an adapter of some sort.

I'm new to audio terminology, so please excuse me if I ask questions about certain terms. Your suggestions would be appreciated - thanks.

Thanks for that suggestion!

Hmmm... Well a 4.2 is basically the same as a 4.1 as far as the inputs go - just one for the front set of speakers and one for the back, just like any other 4.1 system.

Please forgive my lack of correct terminology here, but if the connectors on that monster splitter will accept the same sort of speaker inputs that a typical sound card would then I think this would do the the trick.
