i have a macbook. model 5,2 (a1181) and it has a button under trackpad like spacebar. i bought it second hand five days ago. when i got this there is os 10.8.1 and trackpad button was worked nicely. Right sight right click and left sight left click. but after upgrade my os to 10.8.2 that is not working 😢. then i searched on internet. i got a picture of trackpad options but in my mac system preference>trackpad option is not like that. in that pic i see many option but at my mac just some options hare. and right button option is not available.

I'm not sure that your model can sense left/right clicks on the trackpad button...

Regardless, there are several ways for you to right-click, most of which can be enabled in the System Preferences:

1. Hold "control" on your keyboard as you tap or click, this is the default way of right-clicking, and it works on every Mac computer, no setup needed.

2. Place two fingers on the trackpad as you click the trackpad button; this should work without any additional setup.

3. Enable "tap to click" (if not enabled already), then enable the option to do a "secondary click" with a two-finger tap. At that point, you'll be able to "tap" the trackpad with two fingers to mimic a right-click.
