Can I link multiple materials to 1 assignment?

Seems to me I can only link one document to each assignment when creating posts in Course Manager. To let students have access to more downloadable material I have to create more assignments, each with only one 1 downloadble piece of material. I need multiple available downloads in one assignment. Is this doable? Thanks.
