Like others, I'd like to download photos from picasa in a more efficient way than photo-by-photo. I see from other threads that an RSS feed seems to be the way to go, but I hit two snags:

—If I subscribe to the feed for all of my photos, I seem to just get thumbnails of one photo per photo album.

—When I subscribe album by album, things seem to work as expected. But when I move the photos from the "feed" folder into my library (as was recommended in another thread; the photo are not editable in the feed folder) the resulting photos are only 1/10 the size of the originals. (60k vs. 600k).

Is there a better way to move photos from the feed subscription into the library than dragging and dropping? Why am I losing data when I import photos this way?
