Have you seen any error messages? What is it doing that makes you say it is not syncing?
My wi fi will not turn on. it is grayed out and will do nothing when i try to turn it on. and my blue tooth is doing the same thing.
I have not seen any error messages. Where would i look for error messages? and i first noticed this while out of town, i got in my car and the phone would not sync with the car, so i looked in phone to turn on bluetooth and i could not turn it on and my wi fi either.
The first thing you can try and do is a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. If that doesn't help, then look at this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1559 for help. You can also try going to Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings.
Connecting to the vehicle is not really syncing, that is what confused me about your original post. See if these things help.
Thanks, i have done you first suggestion, i will try it once more, then will go to the support doc you mentioned! My bluetooth keeps spinning and doesn't connect........ but if the support document does not help, do i remove my sims card before i do the reset network settings?
This did not work. I went to the support doc you gave me, this did not work. I reset network settings and it did not work either.
A number of people have reported bluetooth and wifi problems with the newer iOS. While I have not experienced it, I can only say to check in the "More Like This" section in the right side of this thread. The ones with the green check mean they have been answered. Something there may assist you.
User troubleshooting includes restart, reset (which you have already done), restore from a backup, and restore as a new device. A restore can result in the loss of data, which is normally put back if you use the backup. Restore as new device deletes everything and the phone is as new. This is the last resort prior to a visit to the Apple store to have the hardware diagnosed. If you are unsure about backups and restores, you can look at this support document prior to doing any of that. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
