1984 Mac 128k

I recently came across a long forgotten box that contains the original Mac 128k.

I wanted to see if this would still work, but a product this old might be compromised by being too cavalier about plugging it in and booting it up.

I'm sure it would need a new battery to keep track of date and time, but I'm more concerned about accumulated dust or dirt or electronic components that may have been known to age over time.

Anyone faced this problem with an item this old, or should I not be so meek and just go for it and plug it in?

Any experiences with this, especially with this product, would be useful.

Thanks.
