not enough memory

hi

i have an ipod touch and its 8gb but when i upload itunes and download, it doesnt work and tells me not enough memory. what can i do? do i have to delete music or is there anythnig else?

Does it say memory or storage?

An 8 GB iPod ony has aboutn 6.4 GB available to the user.

it says there is not enough free space to hold all the items in itunes library. ( additional 146.3MG REQUIRED)

Yes, you need to either sync less media or delete/unsync some media from the iPod.

i do not have any apps only facebook cos the memory but do u mean delete old songs.

i delelted photos aswell but im now delelting old boring music i hardly listen to now
