Q: ebay no longer sees aperture pictures

For the past 1.5 years i have been bringing my macbook pro back to the store because Aperture does not work right.

They blamed my machine's memory - 2X. Finally, after they installed the apple memory and problems happened again, they decided it was a video card problem.

Unfortunately, now, when I try to upload pictures to ebay, only the iphoto directory is visilble. Aperture used to be right above iphoto, now it is gone.

I've tried looking for the Aperture directory under pictures and applications but it is no longer recognized.

I have been uploading versions of pictures directly from Aperture to ebay for 1.5 years and now Aperture is just not showing up.

Also, when I try to edit Aperture, pictures no longer rotate using the [ ] keys - there are probably other issues but I really need to figure out the first one.

Hope you can help.

Ensure "share pictures with ilife and iwork" is set in Aperture preferences. Also ensure previews are generated for app photos you want to share.

I didn't realize that setting had changed. If you know how to get my keys to work again, that would be great. Maybe I should ask a 'new' question? Pictures no longer rotate using the [ ] keys etc.

    Thank you so much.

    Thank you so much.

You should start a new thread.  Helps others with the same question find answers, and helps make the "More like this" section more helpful.

In the meantime , go to "Aperture➞Commands➞Defaults➞English" to return to the default keyboard mappings (if you've changed them),  then go to the "Photos" menu and see what keyboard shortcuts are listed for "Rotate Clockwise" and "Rotate Counter-clockwise".  If left and right bracket are not listed, or if they are listed and don't work, delete your user prefs as described on this Apple support page.
