Downloaded Mount Lion OS X successfully using recovery mode / Disk utilities
And the installer is installing the OS X, during the installation time, I am getting a message as " the remaining: about : 24 minutes"
like this keeps increasing theIn minus.
But the installation is successful.What is the reason and I can not understand why it is happening.
What is the solution, please help me out if anybody knows about it.

Well, you don't have a problem, so you won't need a solution. The counter is nothing but an indication, so nothing to worry about.

But the installer menu is not disappearing and it is still appearing with message as " -45 minutes".
It supposes to reboot automatically but this message is still appearing as the remaining: -47 minutes" and it keeps increasing in minus. But the installation supposes to finish within 25 to 30 minutes, but it is not happening
What shall I do on this stage? Pls advise.

From recovery mode/ disk utility, after erasing with disk repair, I am downloading
Mountain Lion OS X. I am having MacBook Pro 13inch Note book.
It sounds as if you have a rather slow Internet connection? If you're using Internet Recovery (which you are) DON'T rely on a wifi connection - make SURE that you are connected to your router via Ethernet as you will get 3x the speed on wired Ethernet as you would on wifi.
So start the process again and remember that you're installing a nearly 5GB file - and it will take some time.

What OS X version is/was on your machine when you booted into Recovery, and why do you need to use Recovery?
It is Mountain Lion 10.8 version.
I have upgraded Mountain Lion 3 months before. After that the system was not working properly. One day the system did not boot at all and tried no of times the same problem.
I took advise through somebody that I should use recovery mode and reinstall the software after
Disk repair and erase.
And then started downloading the Mountain Lion OS X which downloaded successfully.
I am having problem now while installing the software.
Kindly assist me to proceed further.
You can abort the process anytime and re-try. As clinton says, make sure that your Internet connection works well - interruptions are certainly not helpful...

So you've likely a late 2011 13" MBP. You can upgrade the RAM yourself - up to 16GB using two 8GB 204-pin PC-10600 (1333 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM sticks. Or you can just upgrade to 8GB if you want - using two 4GB sticks (but RAM is cheap right now - a good time to buy). At an Apple service center they would simply charge too much for the RAM and installation - it's very easy to DIY.
Do you have a friend or neighbor who has a faster Internet connection? Seems a shame to send the machine out to a service center just to get Mountain Lion installed.
