Sony AX2000e "Private" Final Cut Pro X

Hi, after 4-5 years I've just upgrated my iMac to another iMac 21.5 with OS X. I downloaded a trial version of Final Cut Pro X and I can't import as the computer says "private" for my media cards on my camear, if i put the card in the Mac it's not recognised there either. Why does Apple break something that is working for years? OS X 10.8.2 2.9GHz Intel Core I5 with 8gig of memory.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 21.5Inch Intel 5i 2.9

Duur, sorry people, it said Private because my A card was blank. As soon as i selected card b on my camera it worked and Final Cut Pro X found all the files ready to import. Glad I don't have to convert.
