Movies won't play in itunes 11

Evden though you're using a newer version, try the following user tip:

I had the same issue. If you have Apple TV and other devices using the same library, you have to turn on Sharing on the Sharing Tab in iTunes and the videos play fine. Go to Edit > Preferences > Sharing. Check the box for "Share my library on my local network" and select either your entire library or the files that contain your videos. And voila!

That's a step in the right direction, capalatucci. What you're experiencing choppy playback and sound being out of sync might be a graphics and sound driver being out-of-date. I would check with Dell on their website (you will need either your Service Tag # or serial #) and/or the manufacturer(s) of your graphics and sound cards and download/install newer drivers. Dell always has the latest and greatest on their support site (support.dell.com). That often fixes these kinds of issues. Thanks! Now the ap doesn't crash, but they are very choppy on the desktop and the soundtrack is not in sync.

Okay. See if you can get the videos to play better in iTunes if you launch iTunes in safe mode.
