Reducing "Other" space?

Hello Apple Support Communites!

So since I have had the iPhone 5 I have noticed that there is a vast amount of "other" that takes up space on my phone.
- I have deleted all those voicemails that I dont need.
- I have deleted all the notes and put them on my computer.

- I have removed all my voice memos too.

- Removed all photos and photo streams

So with all that done I still have a huge "2.26gb" still documented on my phone...someone help?!

Restore your phone first from your back up using itunes, then if still there, restore as new. Other, space around 1gb is normal, when it is alot more it normally represents corrupted files.

It may be normal; iOS 6 seems to have more "other" than earlier versions. Unless you have data corruption all of that Other is probably real data. Do you save text messages? Emails? Facebook? See also the "More Like This" box to the right of your message.
