-ERR Mailbox in quarantine get this message when I try to configure my mail account in Apple Mail programm SMTP is green by testing the connection but POP is red … can any body help me?

I've never seen this sort of an error before. Do you by any chance have anti-virus software installed? It's possible that that software is preventing the setup, especially if there is some Windows malware attached to a message in your inbox.
