Hello, I'm having the heap error in iMovie and/or it keeps crashing when I try to export using Quicktime. Any help?

I'm trying to upload another lyric video I made so I need settings that will give all three of video, picture, and sound. I just want good quality, best quality perferable. Please help!

Hi

Can it be this that You mean ?

Error -108memFullErr Ran out of memory [not enough room in heap zone]

Turn off - TimeMachine usually works - re-try.

(the Application down in the Dock - not the Device)

But this can mean many thing's - My first thought is

• Free Space on Start-Up hard disk. How much ? (other disks do not count)

1GB or 4GB refers to RAM-Memory - NOT the remaining free space on Your BOOT Hard Disk - most often named Macintosh HD.

Double click on that icon and it opens and on bottom frame You can read

User uploaded file

And as You see this HD of mine only got 2.36GB free space - Way to low to be safe for VIDEO Work. My minimum for that is 25 GB or if HD-Material 4 - 5 times more. Mac OS and Application NEED this space for their .temp files and this space can not be addressed elsewhere (other external hard disks) but must be HERE.
