Work Around for what is a actually pretty serious bug.

My iPhone 4 vide0s could not be openned after exporting them from Aperture. Get Info showed 43K.

The file does play in Apple Grapher, however, and when saved with a new name, it plays in QuickTime without problems. Also, the file in Get Info has been restored to the actual size.

I do hope Apple puts a little more focus this kind of detail. It is really a lapse in quality.

I have a related question. When I used quicktime to open .avi file, t launched divx pconverter that converted it to a .mov file and only that .mov file could be played. I could see video but no audio. The movie inspector shows H.264 format, AAC, 48000 Hz, streo (L R). This is on maverick with quicktime player 10.3.

Can someone tell me how to fix this issue?

    thanks
