I updated my iPhone 5 an it is now stuck on screen with iTunes logo and usb cord

I attempted to update my iPhone 5 with itunes and got an error message, it is now stuck on the screen with iTunes logo and usb cord. I've tried many different things to try and reconnect it with itunes with no luck. Before the attempted update had no problem connecting to itunes.

My pc recognises my iphone but itunes does not. And because of this I cant have apple support call me.

What do i do?😟
