my ipod touch wont let me look at my photos, i click on photos and it goes where the albums would be shown then closes

I clcik on photos and it goes to the white screen where the albums would be shown then closes out of photos and goes back to the home screen. i am not able to put them on instagram and when i try it closes out of instagram. i am able to put pictures on facebook. when i go to my camera though, i can click on saved photos and can look at them there. I have gotten a message saying not enough data and go to settings to change this or something like this, i dont see how this is possible because i have 1.7GB of space available and i have deleted numerous photos, apps, and songs.

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

That message means that yo do not have enough free/available storage on your iPod. Yu need to delete/unsync some items from the iPod. Also

I dont see why that should be the problem. I have like 2.2GB of space left, and i have deleted numerous photos, apps and stuff. Music is taking up the most space with like 970MB and the only thing close to that is 340MB. Photos is only taking up like 99MB. And i have tried resetting it the way you said.

But i have like 2.3GB of space available, so that should not be an issue, i have had less space before and it hasnt done anything. i dont think you are understanding my problem. my pictures are still there, but i can only look at them when i click on camera then on saved photos then i can view all of them. but when i click on the actual photos it goes to the screen where it would show the albums then it closes out of photos. I have tried resetting my ipod like 5 or 6 times it is not working.
