if i have a first generation ipod touch can i turn it in when i'm buying a fifth generation ipod touch and get some sort of discount?

I have a first generation ipod touch. its pretty much a dinosaur compared to the new ipods. It doesnt even have the graphics capability to download basically annnnny new apps. I was pretty dissapointed to learn that. So now i need a newer ipod touch and i was wondering if i exchanged it for a new one if i get some sort of discount. any information would be appreciated.
