Hello, just "upgraded" to iTunes 11 and I have one question: in the old version there was a space at the bottom that told me me how many total songs I have in my library .... where is this in the new version? Surely they haven't deleted this. Thanks for any help!

In the View menu you can turn the status bar on. It will show the number of your songs as in previous versions.

HI , this isn't working for me! I'm running Itunes for Windows and also was upgraded. how can I see the number of songs?
I have itunes 11.2 on Windows. How can I find out how many songs I have? I tried to follow the info in this thread but it doesn't work for me. When I click on the view menu there is no option for turning on the status bar. Thanks.
I came here looking to answer the same question. Initially, I didn't have the status bar option either but after selecting show activity the option appeared.
