how can i get "via iOS" in my postings and comments from my iPhone?

If you use the Sharing Widget, you will get the "via iOS". Any other way, you will not. You'll need to take it up with Facebook.

You need to make sure it's turned on in Settings>Notifications. Once it's turned on, it's accessed through the Notification Center.

I don't get where you're seeing this. In the iPhone settings or Facebook settings?

sorry deadams, its on Facebook. Actually, my friends can post on FB with their iphone 5. And as you see their posts (of pics etc.) you will notice on top that it is mentioned as "via IOS". Unfortunately, i can't. I actually gave up since i posted this. I have tried everything including the suggestion above. But still nothing is happening.

Hi, you will get 'via ios' if you share photos using facebook app however you won't get if you just update status. There is a way to get 'via ios' under facebook post.

You just have to click on tap to post on your status screen, drag phone screen from top to bottom and you will see tap to post and tap to tweet. If you are not getting tap to post and tap to tween then follow below steps -

Go to settings, -> Notifications -> Share widget -> turn on 'Notification center'.

Now tap to post has been activated and you will get via ios showing under your post on facebook.

All you have to do is post your update by swiping down on your screen and using those posting methods...If you use the facebook app itself, it will post by mobile.

I'm also facing this problem in iPhone 4 after iOS7 upgrade. If for FB app location services is ON then it shows by location in the status post. But if location service is off then status post shows 'Via Mobile'. can anyone suggest some solution to show 'Via iPhone' or 'Via iOS' in status post from phone.

What is sooo important about this particular little issue? You aren't having trouble getting your contribution or pictures posted, so who cares if your identified as an ios user? Do you feel special to be identified as belonging to this special club, or hip group of users? If this was my biggest problem with computer usage I'd probably **** myself I'd be so happy. I hope you get your answer...I really do, especially since it is so important to you. I wish everyone could always be totally happy and satisfied with everything they're involved with in life. But good grief, this just seems so petty to me I couldn't imagine starting a thread over something like this...thats what makes the world so wonderful I guess, everyone is different. Also, there may be more to this than I understand, but HELLO, I don't care what brand of underwear your wearing, and that seems about as important as this issue to me. But really, help me out here, is there some key reason this actually matters at all at the end of the day?

Whats your problem if some one want to use this feature? And as this feature is available with iOS , it clearly indicates that there are people who may not care about my underwear brand but they care about " brand Apple " , it might be your personal choice of not using this feature but you cant impose your view to others.
