my iph5 wont show up in itunes 11

im using windows xp and doggone iphone 5 wont show up any where, it downloaded a game but my fone wont show up. my ipod shows up but not fone even when plugged or on wifi sync. whats the deal im getting my ipad 4 today and i wanna solve this problem, uggh. PLEASE HELP.
