I don't like the new itunes 11.0. How do I get the old 10.7 back. I have tried deleting the 11.0 and then downloading 10.7 but when I try to bring it up after it has completed the download, I get a box that says it cannot be opened.

Appel drives me cracy. All this new ******** to help selling their music. I have a big library myself. How the **** can I now sync my many devices (iPhones and iPads). I am getting ****** off more and more - have been a valuable client since 17 years. This will come to an end now.

How to sync?

I want to know as well - worst update ever.

How are you supposed to setup the Iphone Sync? Where is it?

You can down load the old iTunes from here:

http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1576

First you must uninstall iTunes 11, then install the old version.

You will also need to recover your old library file.

Use the procedure in this article about something else:

I would suggest copying the backup library file rather than moving it so that you still keep the backup.

The backup will obviously reflect your library at the time of updating.

To roll back to iTunes 10.7 first download a copy of the installer from here, uninstall iTunes and suppporting software, i.e. Apple Application Support & Apple Mobile Device Support. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.

See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.

Thank you very much for this. All rolled back and working fine again.I really don't like the new front end and the fact they "hide" the download bar in the top right hand corner. What was wrong with it where is was.
